PGEFormed since 1987 from the Netherlands’ Philips Group, PGE specializes in the processes of photo-lithography, etching and galvanotechnics to produce high-grade precision components for aerospace, mechanical engineering, medical, military and electromechanical applications. These components include electroformed metal bellows, moulding parts for optical components, loudspeaker foils, lead frames and metalized ceramics.

Currently, it is the largest plating and etching company in the Benelux countries (Belgium, Netherlands and Luxemburg).

It has a complete production capability of 6,000 square meters comprising reel-to-reel plating lines, automatic barrel and rack plating machines, etching machines, and related lithographic printing equipment. It is well equipped with a laboratory, clean rooms, measuring and other supporting facilities for the production of prototypes, pilot production and mass production.

Electroplating

Electroplating (and its related electroforming) is the process of using an electrolytic technique to deposit a metal coating onto a product so as to give it the desired properties and functionalities.

PGE has experience with multiple types of coatings such as zinc, nickel, and nickel/chromium, and treatments and their applications. For the electronics industry, PGE has the knowhow in contact coatings for wire bonding, soldering, welding and gluing using tin, silver, tin/lead and gold.

Photo-chemical Milling

Etching is used to make precision components from various materials ranging from metals, alloys to glass.  PGE is experienced in providing etching services for applications from small prototypes to large items.
