Pulsed fiber lasers are used in applications such as welding, cutting, annealing, printing, sintering, scribing, patterning, drilling, ablation, marking and in materials processing.

Laser 21 distributes Pulsed Fiber Lasers (MOPA) from Multiwave. Formed in 2003 by a core team with over 15 years of experience, Multiwave  develops  innovative optical sources based on fiber-optic technologies, especially next-generation fiber lasers. With a custom-built state-of-the-art Class 10K clean room facility in northern Portugal, Multiwave offers product design, development and engineering services to meet clients' needs.

• Pulsed Fiber Laser (MOPA) are available in two product families - MOPA-M and MOPA-L. These are provided in OEM configurations ready for integration or as standalone CDRH-certified laser systems.
• Pulsed Seed Lasers in the range 10 to 250 ns as an OEM module, for marking, micromachining, medical and sensing applications.
• Various families of Optical Fiber Amplifiers as OEM modules.
• ASE Fiber Sources as OEM modules.
• Compact Laser Diode Driver. This is a all-in-one unit consisting of a laser diode, SLED mount, low noise current driver and a TEC controller.
  
• Benchtop Fiber Sources or benchtop instruments.
• Multipoint Fiber Optic Temperature Monitoring System.
